Desogestrel 0.15 mg, ethinyl estradiol 0.03 mg
Indications/Uses
OC.
Dosage/Direction for Use
1 tab daily starting on 1st day of menses followed by 7 tab-free days.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Thrombophlebitis, thromboembolic disorders, CV disease, severe disturbances of liver function, jaundice, Dubin-Johnson syndrome, severe diabetes w/ vascular changes. Pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Severe varicose vein, epilepsy, migraine, HTN, DM, smoking, hepatic cell adenoma.
Adverse Reactions
Headache, nausea, abdominal pain, GI upset, thrombosis, mood & body wt changes, intermenstrual bleeding.
Drug Interactions
Barbiturates, rifampicin, anticonvulsant, oral antidiabetics.
